 What I learned about teaching speaking skills

Speaking is the act or skill of giving a speech at a specific event, for learning a language it is important to communicate clearly, there is a lot of problems when one student needs to express some ideas. Many students hesitate to participate in speaking class due to a limited vocabulary or understanding and development of their speaking skills. In the English class, it was evident that some students had a lot of problems expressing their feeling and thoughts, they do not know the meaning of different words in context and they did not know how to pronounce some words.

The best way to improve their speaking skills is:

1.    Expand your vocabulary for example read ten minutes all day.

2.    Improve your pronunciation, watching videos or tv programs is an interesting option.

3.    Build your English confidence by practicing all the time in a small group of conversations.

4.    Thinking in English please do not translate in tour main it is the worst way to develop their speaking skills.  

5.    Learn the natural flow in English, for example, is relevant to understand linking words or connect speech in a common conversation to native speakers.
